RN First Assist - Main Operating Room

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in the Main Operating Room while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information while performing duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Requires minimum one-year perioperative nursing experience, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications within the first year. Preferred candidates hold CNOR or RN-First Assistant certification.
