RN First Assist - Main Operating Room

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in the Main Operating Room, maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate patient care with other departments and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards while protecting patient rights and confidentiality. Requires minimum one-year perioperative nursing experience, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certification within the first year. CNOR or RN-First Assistant certification is preferred. This role supports a Level I Trauma Center and Burn Center featuring seven specialty teams and four state-of-the-art surgical robots.
