RN First Assist - Main Operating Room

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in the Main Operating Room, maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate patient care with other departments while evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. Assist in procedures across seven specialty teams including general, urologic, robotic, and neurosurgery, requiring a minimum of one year of perioperative nursing experience. BLS/ACLS certification is required within the first year.
