Job Summary
Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate surgical patients through the nursing process to deliver effective peri-operative care. Maintain current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure and complete required surgical competency-based orientation if lacking prior peri-operative experience. Ensure all staff possess valid BLS, ACLS/ALS, and PALS certifications as applicable to the specific unit assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS or completed prior to end of orientation period
- Current ACLS/ALS or completed within 6 months of hire
- Current PALS or completed within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Past peri-operative experience
