Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a technically complex environment, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice models. Participate in a four-phased orientation based on AACN's ECCO resources, including simulation-based innovation and blocked learning to transition from novice to expert competency. Support individualized specialty education and training under clinical educators for competency validation throughout the clinical orientation period. Prioritize patient wellness, a multidisciplinary team approach, and secure safety and quality at the point of care in a fast-paced, innovative clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
