RN Fellowship Med Surg PCU Rotating

Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a technically complex environment, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice models. Support a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes while prioritizing patient wellness and safety at the point of care. Mentor new healthcare staff through precepting activities and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation. Participate in a four-phased orientation based on AACN Essentials of Critical Care Orientation resources, including simulation-based innovation and blocked learning in a multi-system approach. Contribute to secure safety and quality standards in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
