Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including Level 1 trauma designation, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Operate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment. Maintain valid state RN licensure, BLS certification, and minimum six months of nursing experience. Work full-time night shifts at the UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO, earning a base rate of $35.29 to $54.71 per hour with a quarterly night shift incentive program.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS or CPR card in hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
