Job Summary
Conduct guided transition into Mother Baby & Labor Delivery specialty through structured curriculum, experienced preceptors, and hands-on learning. Deliver patient-focused, whole-person care in the labor and delivery department at Providence Alaska Medical Center. Maintain Alaska Registered Nurse License and complete required certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NRP within six months of hire. Requires more than 12 months of continuous RN work experience. Full-time night shifts available starting November 2, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics
- 1 year Nursing experience (new to specialty)
- Night shifts available
