Job Summary
Conduct emergency nursing care and patient stabilization at Providence Alaska Medical Center under the guidance of experienced preceptors. Deliver whole-person care aligned with the organization's mission to serve vulnerable communities while completing required certifications within six months of hire. Participate in a structured curriculum designed to transition registered nurses into the emergency specialty. Full-time variable shifts are available starting November 2, 2026, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1017 Trauma Nursing Core Course (Facility Managed)
- 1017 Emerg Nursing Pediatric Course (Facility Managed)
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
- 1 year of Nursing experience (new to specialty)
- Full-Time employment
