Job Summary
Conduct emergency nursing care at Providence Alaska Medical Center as part of the November 2026 RN Fellowship cohort, transitioning into a new specialty under structured curriculum and experienced preceptors. Deliver patient-focused, whole-person care while completing required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma nursing courses within six months of hire. Maintain Alaska Registered Nurse licensure and apply specialized training to support the organization's mission of caring for vulnerable communities across Alaska.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1017 Trauma Nursing Core Course (Facility Managed)
- 1017 Emerg Nursing Pediatric Course (Facility Managed)
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
- 1 year of Nursing experience (new to specialty)
