Job Summary
Conduct emergency nursing care and patient monitoring at Providence Alaska Medical Center under the guidance of experienced preceptors. Deliver whole-person care aligned with the organization's mission to support vulnerable communities. Complete required training modules including the 1017 Trauma Nursing Core Course, Emerg Nursing Pediatric Course, ACLS, and PALS within 180 days of hire. Maintain Alaska Registered Nurse licensure and BLS certification upon start. Transition into the emergency specialty through a structured curriculum while working variable full-time shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1017 Trauma Nursing Core Course (Facility Managed)
- 1017 Emerg Nursing Pediatric Course (Facility Managed)
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
- 1 year of Nursing experience (new to specialty)
- Full-Time employment
