Job Summary
Conduct emergency nursing care at Providence Alaska Medical Center under the guidance of experienced preceptors as part of a structured fellowship curriculum. Deliver patient-focused, whole-person care while transitioning into the emergency specialty with hands-on learning opportunities. Complete required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma/nursing core courses within six months of hire. Work full-time with variable shifts starting November 2, 2026. Eligible candidates receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1017 Trauma Nursing Core Course (Facility Managed)
- 1017 Emerg Nursing Pediatric Course (Facility Managed)
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
- 1 year of Nursing experience (new to specialty)
- Full-Time employment
- Variable shifts
