Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care using the ANA Nursing Process while coordinating care delivery and providing health teaching. Deliver relationship-centered, compassionate care to individuals alongside interdisciplinary teams, family members, and support systems. Exercise independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to alleviate suffering and advocate for patients in accordance with ANA Standards of Professional Nursing Practice, institutional policies, and applicable laws.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) status
- South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
- Very Heavy work capability: exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects
- Possible exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
