Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, analyze data to determine diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans using the ANA Nursing Process. Implement prescribed strategies to attain expected outcomes while coordinating care delivery and providing health teaching to promote safety. Evaluate patient progress toward attainment of goals and consult with interdisciplinary teams to enhance abilities and effect change. Exercise independent judgment in direct patient care, advocacy, and resolution of illness or disability in accordance with state regulations and institutional policies.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) status
- South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
- Very Heavy work capability: exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
