Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, analyze data to determine diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans utilizing the ANA Nursing Process. Implement prescribed strategies to attain expected outcomes while ensuring patient progression through direct clinical practice and coordination of care. Deliver health teaching and promotion strategies to foster a safe environment, providing consultation to influence care plans and enhance team abilities. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes and continuously seek opportunities to improve quality of patient care delivery through innovative problem solving. Requires 5+ years of RN experience and BLS certification; located in Rapid City, SD, with 40 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) status
- South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
- Very Heavy work capability: exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
