Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers, their newborns, and families throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals during deliveries, including assisting with cesarean sections or emergency procedures. Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and epidurals while monitoring for adverse reactions. Perform fetal heart rate monitoring and other diagnostic tests, respond quickly to obstetric emergencies, and provide education on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum recovery. This role supports new graduates through a mandatory residency program with seminars, mentoring, and transition support; includes educational opportunities, tuition and certification reimbursement, and sign-on/relocation bonuses. Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing, license to practice in NM or a compact state, and BLS certification at time of hire. This position operates on a 12-hour night shift in Albuquerque, NM (with potential relocation bonuses). AA/EOE/VET/DISABLED. A patient-care focused role within Presbyterian Healthcare Services' Labor and Delivery team.
Required Qualifications
