Job Summary
Assist the nursing team with patient care activities including personal hygiene, dressing, walking, bed linen changes, and transportation to tests. Record vital signs under direction and provide nourishment to patients. Work under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse within the Emergency Room. Maintain availability for at least 12 hours every two weeks as a PRN role with rotating shifts. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and hold Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled Nursing Student in an accredited Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) program
- Basic Life Support with American Heart Association
- Must be available to work at least 12 hours every two weeks (bi-weekly minimum)
- Must be able to pick up extra shifts to cover gaps (like call-outs or shortages)
