Job Summary
Ambulatory RN provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the RN scope; delivers healthcare to individuals, families, and communities; acts as preceptor and supports staff development; leads quality improvement initiatives; conducts telephone triage using the RSOAP method and MRI screenings; performs sterile procedures and assists with minor procedures; processes lab specimens; administers allergy injections and skin testing (including intradermals) and nebulizer treatments; provides Xolair injections and handles Prior Authorization; serves as a surgery scheduler and coordinates care for scheduled surgeries.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (IDFPR)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- College Diploma in Nursing
- Ambulatory/office-based nursing experience preferred or implied by scope of practice
