Job Summary
Provide direct professional nursing care for endoscopy patients and coordinate all nursing care in the Endoscopy unit under established clinical nursing practices. Maintain a safe patient care environment and promote patient well-being through the care continuum using the nursing process. The Graduate Nurse will work under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and will not assume charge responsibilities. Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines; demonstrate clinical, managerial, teaching, and communication skills; respond effectively to emergencies and crises; ensure clerical accuracy and quality of care. BLS and ACLS are required, with licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- Current PA Practice Permit/Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS required, must be completed prior to the end of the orientation period
- Endoscopy experience preferred
- One year Critical Care experience
