Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the ANA scope of practice while incorporating patient-family centered principles. Partner with patients and families to develop teaching strategies, document education in health records, and plan discharge according to Corewell Health policies. Provide quality nursing care in the Endoscopy department at Lakeland Hospital, utilizing the nursing process to support patient outcomes. This part-time, variable shift role requires an RN with current ACLS certification and BLS.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing
- Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination
- MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
