Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Emergency Services at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital provides high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team. Responsibilities include assessing pain and promoting effective pain management, performing procedures and documenting care, promptly responding to patient needs, and educating patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures. The role emphasizes teaching, advocacy, and adherence to nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage) to support safe, efficient care and positive clinical outcomes. Required certifications and training (ACLS, BLS, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, Trauma Nursing Core Course, and pediatric-focused life support such as ENPC/PALS) must be obtained within specified timelines after start date, with at least one year of RN experience; no travel is required. Required Qualifications
- RN
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- ACLS within 6 months
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days
- Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months
- Minimum one year of experience
- No Travel Required
