Job Summary
Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or Designee, while participating in patient and family teaching. Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice within the assigned unit. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. This role involves a 24-hour shift with night/day rotation from 3:00am to 11:30am, including every other weekend and holiday rotations. Candidates must hold a current RN licensure in Massachusetts, BLS certification, and fluency in English. Southcoast Health offers a competitive pay range of $40.35 to $71.76 per hour, a $3,000 new hire sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including earned time off and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
