Job Summary
Assess critical situations to support, monitor, and treat patients in emergency and critical care scenarios. Utilize critical thinking to manage adult and pediatric patients, support physician orders, and maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment with regular equipment checks. Collaborate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and facilities while sharing shift change information and maintaining accurate regulatory documentation. Ensure compliance with safety standards and briefings, and maintain required certifications including EMT, Trauma, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. This role involves two 24-hour shifts per week with company-paid crew housing, requiring a licensed RN with three years of emergency or adult critical care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
- EMT Certification
- Trauma Certification in state(s) where required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
