Job Summary
Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and medical record review. Develop and implement patient care plans while evaluating responses to ensure optimal outcomes. Demonstrate competency in therapeutic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, and specimen collections. Maintain confidential patient charts and document status, interventions, and outcomes accurately using information technology. Provide patient and family education based on learning readiness and advocate for patient rights and safety. Work three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends (7pm-7am) at the Level III trauma center in Longmont, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- RN License in state of employment
- Physical Requirements: Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly
- at least six months of direct RN experience
