Job Summary
Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process while adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values within a Level IV trauma center environment. Assist with acute and subacute issues, major traumas, STEMIs, and strokes, including EMTALA stabilization and transfer support. Requires RN license, Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and one year of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- RN License
- Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- One year experience
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
- PRN (variable) schedule
