Job Summary
RN Emergency Room - Nights at Medical City Dallas delivering high-quality, patient-centered ER care. Responsibilities include assessing pain and performing procedures, documenting care in the medical record, teaching patients and families about conditions and follow-up, and collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes. Role emphasizes advocacy, education, and adherence to nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage) with potential sign-on bonus up to $25,000. Required Qualifications
- RN – Registered Nurse with Texas license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent
- PALS, TNCC, ACLS, BCLS certifications or required to obtain within specified timelines
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification or equivalent
- ACLS Instructor qualification or willingness to obtain within designated period
- BCLS Instructor qualification or willingness to obtain within designated period
Desired Qualifications
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training
- RN or Registered Nurse licensure in Texas or state of practice
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing license and ongoing certification requirements
