Job Summary
RN Emergency Room - Mids provides patient-centered care in the ER in collaboration with the care team, uses nursing models to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient care, advocates for patients and families, educates patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and self-management, and adheres to department and state practice standards. The role requires RN licensure, an Associate Degree, and certifications including PALS within 90 days, ACLS and BCLS within specified timeframes, and crisis-intervention training within 1 year. Required Qualifications
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Interv Inst, or Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, or Satori Alternatives Manag Aggr must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
