Job Summary
RN Emergency Room - Mids: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department, collaborating with medical providers and care teams while applying established nursing models. Responsibilities include assessing and managing patient pain, performing procedures and accurate documentation in the medical record, promptly responding to patient needs, and educating patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, follow-up care, and healthy lifestyle changes. Requires obtaining PALS within 90 days, TNCC within 1 year, ACLS and BCLS/Instructor credentials within specified timeframes, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 1 year. Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN in good standing
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or equivalent within 1 year of employment start date
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ACLS Instructor within 90 days of employment start date
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) or BCLS Instructor within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or similar program within 1 year of employment start date
