Job Summary
Assess and triage patients to determine the severity of their conditions. Provide immediate and effective treatment to stabilize patients. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical histories. Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to assist in patient care. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans. Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans. Manage patient flow and coordinate care to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions. Facilitate admission and/or transfer of patients from the ER to appropriate room or other health care facility correctly. Education: • Associate's of Nursing [Required] • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred] Work Experience: • 1+ years of recent and relevant emergency room experience [Preferred] • Critical Care experience [Preferred] Licenses and Certifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] • Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) [Preferred] • Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) [Preferred]
