RN Emergency Room

Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and clinical data review. Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, monitoring outcomes and intervening to ensure optimal results. Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections. Maintain confidential patient charts and records, documenting status, interventions, and responses accurately using information technology. Provide patient and family education based on learning readiness and evaluate teaching effectiveness. Work two 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays. Located at the 3rd Floor Surgical Unit of St. Anthony Hospital, a Magnet-designated Level I Trauma Center in Lakewood, Colorado.
