RN - Emergency Room

Provide direct patient assessment and planning for individualized care in the Emergency Room. Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition and respond quickly to shifts in status or treatment response. Formulate and revise individualized plans of care based on patient progress, while evaluating discharge needs and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. Administer drugs, blood, and solutions per medical and surgical protocols. Assess pain management techniques and educate patients and families on pain control strategies. Identify and address psychosocial needs of patients and families. Maintain current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing and hold an Associate degree in nursing.
