Job Summary

Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups according to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment information to determine diagnoses and care issues, and develops intervention plans to attain outcomes. Implements care plans, coordinates delivery, and employs strategies to promote a safe environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide healing, humane, and caring environments. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and delegates duties to team members. Requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and HLFS certifications. Night shift full-time position at Adventist Health White Memorial.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
  • Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Acute care facility experience
