Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards, supervising staff and coordinating with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, developing plans that prescribe interventions and promote a safe environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide learning opportunities and direct health information. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and delegates duties to team members as assigned. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and PALS certification. Full-time night shift position in a 173-bed hospital serving the Central Valley since 1965.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
