Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards, supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, developing and implementing intervention plans while evaluating progress toward outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe environment, providing learning opportunities and health information. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and delegates duties to team members as assigned. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and PALS certification. Full-time night shift position in a 173-bed hospital in Kings County.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
