Job Summary
Conduct rapid patient assessment, triage, and stabilization in the Emergency Department, managing life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest and trauma. Provide direct care including treatment and discharge planning while accurately documenting outcomes in the electronic health record. Respond to changes in patient conditions and offer emotional support to patients and families during traumatic events. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, infection prevention, and patient safety protocols through effective communication with physicians and the healthcare team. This .9 fte role involves rotating 12-hour shifts, including two weekends every six weeks, with a salary range of $36.73 to $51.43 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Minnesota RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current TNCC certification
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in emergency nursing
- 2+ years of experience in ICU
- 2+ years of experience in trauma
