Job Summary
RN – Emergency Department (Part-Time, Nights) provides direct nursing care in the ED, performs comprehensive assessments, triage, administers treatments including chemotherapy and oncology-related care, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement plans of care. The role requires leadership in patient safety, adherence to nursing standards and hospital policies, utilization of the nursing process, and ongoing professional development. The RN supports education for patients and families, mentors teammates, and demonstrates critical thinking and effective communication within the care team. Located in Paola, KS, with responsibilities aligned to Kansas nursing standards and hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) - Kansas or compact license
- CPR/BLS certification (within 14 days for some units)
