RN Emergency Department PRN

RN Emergency Department PRN provides evidence-based nursing care in the ED, collaborating with an interprofessional team, advocating for patients/families, and coordinating care from assessment through discharge planning. Responsibilities include performing point-of-care testing, upholding ANA standards, ensuring accurate documentation, and guiding unlicensed staff. Requires leadership in a cost-conscious, high-quality care environment, with ongoing professional development and adherence to regulatory/ANA standards. Multiple site requirements include state-specific RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC certifications, and a commitment to patient safety, privacy, and education. The role is part-time, based at Ludington Hospital, Ludington, MI, with a focus on delivering compassionate, culturally competent care within an interdisciplinary team.
