RN - Emergency Department Mercy South

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients in the Level II Trauma, Level I Stroke, and STEMI emergency department. Coordinate patient care with other departments, evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Work the night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am as part of a 36-hour weekly full-time schedule, managing a 3-4 patient ratio in a 63-bed unit. Engage in close collaboration with ED physicians and participate in the 16-week Nurse Residency program.
