Job Summary
Conduct night shift emergency care for a 47-bed ER serving 80,000 to 85,000 annual patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop plans of care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs. Manage multiple clinical priorities, delegate to achieve patient outcomes, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams under Nurse Manager supervision. Work 7 pm to 7:30 am three times weekly, rotating EOW/EOH. Requires current Connecticut RN license with BSN preferred; new graduates work under supervision. Required Qualifications
- RN with current Connecticut license
- BSN preferred
- Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred
- New graduates to work under supervision per State guidelines
- Demonstrates excellence in customer service
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self directed in clinical responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to manage and organize multiple clinical priorities
