Job Summary
RN, Emergency Department (ED) nurse providing professional nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting. Uses the nursing process to assess patient data, develop and implement plans of care, and evaluate outcomes. Delivers patient education, ensures safety, and collaborates with interprofessional team. Applies growth and development principles across the life span and adheres to ethical standards (ANA code of ethics). Opportunities for CAPE clinical ladder advancement; roles involve potential progression based on experience, certifications, and demonstrated competencies. Night shift, full-time position with responsibilities including documentation, handoffs, and maintaining high-quality patient care. Education path includes current RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred; similar prerequisites may include ADN/BSN pathways as per role requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state where services will be provided or multi-state license through eNLC
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date
- Less than 12 months of RN experience
