Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards, supervising staff and coordinating with other disciplines. Collects health data, analyzes assessments to determine diagnosis and care issues, and develops plans prescribing interventions to attain outcomes. Implements care delivery strategies, delegates duties to team members, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment while providing learning opportunities and direct health information. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS, and PALS certifications. Full-time night shift at Adventist Health Bakersfield.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- at least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
