RN - Emergency Department (Full Time, Night Shift)

Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards, supervises assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, develops intervention plans, and implements strategies to promote a safe environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers while participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates duties appropriately and performs other job-related tasks as assigned. Requires BSN preferred, acute care experience preferred, and RN licensure with ACLS/PALS certifications. Full-time night shift position at Adventist Health Bakersfield.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- At least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
