RN - Emergency Department (Full Time, Night)

Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department according to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessment information to determine diagnosis and care issues, and develops intervention plans to attain desired outcomes. Implements care plans, coordinates delivery, and employs strategies to promote a safe environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a healing environment, provides learning opportunities, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates duties appropriately and performs other job-related tasks as assigned.
