Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department according to established standards, supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessment information to determine diagnosis and care issues, and develops intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe environment, participates in discharge planning, and delegates duties to team members. Requires Registered Nurse licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and BLS certification. Full-time night shift position with $15,000 sign-on incentive for eligible hires.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- at least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
