RN - Emergency Department (Full Time, Night)

Job Summary
Conduct coordinated nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department, supervising assigned staff and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. Collect relevant health data, analyze assessment findings to determine diagnoses, and develop intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Implement prescribed strategies to promote a safe environment, collaborate with patients and families, and provide learning opportunities. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and delegate duties appropriately to healthcare team members. Requires RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and at least one year of acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- At least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
