Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff, coordinates care with other disciplines, and employs independent judgment to analyze assessment data and develop intervention plans. Implements care delivery strategies, delegates duties to team members, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment while providing health information and learning opportunities. Requires BSN preference, acute care experience, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and PALS certification. Full-time night shift with $15,000 sign-on incentive for eligible hires.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- At least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
