RN - Emergency Department (Full Time, Night)

Job Summary
Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process. Collect relevant assessment data, analyze findings to determine care issues, and develop intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring environments while participating in discharge planning for continuity of care. Delegate duties appropriately and coordinate activities with various levels of nursing staff and other disciplines. Requires Registered Nurse licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and at least one year of specialty experience. Full-time night shift position with a $15,000 sign-on incentive for eligible hires.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- at least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
