Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department according to established standards, supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, developing and implementing intervention plans to promote health and a safe environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide healing care, participates in discharge planning for continuity, and delegates duties to team members. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS, and PALS/NRP certifications. Full-time evening shift.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
