Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department, supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses, develops care plans, and implements interventions to promote a safe environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers while participating in discharge planning and delegating duties to team members. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS, and PALS/NRP certifications. Full-time evening shift position at Adventist Health Tulare.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
