Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department according to established standards, supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines. Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessments to determine diagnoses, and develops intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe environment, participates in discharge planning, and delegates duties to team members. Requires BSN preferred, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certifications, and BLS; full-time evening shift. Adventist Health Tulare serves the Central Valley community with 108 beds.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
